This is a photo by the inimitable Rick Lee, in Roane County, West Virginia.Someone or other said that a grassland punctuated by trees is our ancestral Garden, encoded in our genes. Certainly the oak-covered hills of Central California qualify as among the most beautiful places I know.
West Virginia must equal that, at least seen through Rick's eyes.
