The indispensable Cap'n Ed observes the authorities' increasing loss of control over the French suburbs, inhabited by mostly North African immigrants and their children, and more and more "no go" zones for the police.This cannot end well. Either Islam will dominate and dhimmify France, or an autoritarian government will impose assimilation on some, and emigration on others. A soft-landing is unlikely.
Enoch Powell was blunt but perhaps prophetic.
